Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
When you choose comics from our Pre-Order or Subscription section the ship date listed on each comic is subject to publisher change.
All orders are in pounds(£) and pence.
You can pay by CHEQUE or POSTAL ORDER, please make them out to Legion of Comics and remember to send a copy of your receipt with your cheque or postal order to the P.O. BOX.
You can pay by using the secure SAGE PAY website or PAYPAL and you don't have to be a member of PAYPAL to use your Debit/Credit cards. Just select the paypal option on the dropdown menu at the check out.
We accept credit/debit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the U.K., place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. When filling out your invoice information please use the address the card is registered at. You may send your credit/debit card information by posting them to the address above or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

STANDARD MAIL PRICES ARE FOR ANY IN-STOCK AND RE-ORDERED COMICS
(ALL ORDERS INCLUDE THE COST OF PACKAGING)
1 TO 2 COMICS = £1.60
3 TO 7 COMICS = £3.10
8 TO 13 COMICS = £5.10
AND FOR EVERY 2 COMICS ORDERED AFTER ADD 80p
FOR RECORDED DELIVERY JUST ADD 75p TO THE PRICES ABOVE.
LARGER ITEMS HAVE A SEPARATE POSTAGE CHARGE.
Any international orders will be sent by Air mail plus international signed for and Starting from £7.50 in Europe for the first comic.
All prices include the cost of packaging.
Delivery Schedule
We will normally process your order in 3 working days (Not including weekends and Bank Holidays).
However, we do ask all customers to allow up to 15 working days for delivery. International orders are generally received in under 21days.
In the unlikely event your order goes missing, e-mail us with your order number the date your order was placed and the date you received the order processed e-mail.
It can take up to 15 working days for any lost orders to be returned us by Royal Mail, only after the 15 working days have elapsed we will either replace the missing item or refund you the cost of the missing item.
Back Orders
Any items that have been ordered and are out of stock will be back ordered from our supplier and sent out at a later date.
Once we have received your re-order we will place an order with our supplier.
You will not be charged for any issues you re-order until we have them in-stock.
We will send you a e-mail when it is ready to ship and a money request from PayPal. (remember you do not need a PayPal account to make a payment)
All normal shipping charges apply.
Delivery times may vary depending how easy it is to get the item, but usually re-ordered and back ordered items arrive in our next delivery, every Thursday.
But in the unlikely event we can’t get the item you wanted, we will e-mail you.
Covers may differ from the one advertised.
Subscription and Pre-order Terms
HOW TO ORDER
If you like, you can send us an e-mail with a list of comics you want to subscribe to, a delivery address and a delivery schedule, you can then add or cancel any titles you want by email.
Or just enter any subscription and pre-order section on the website and you’ll find the following options in each product.
Monthly, We will ship your order at the end of the month and when we've received your payment.
Weekly, We will ship your order when the comics come out and when we've received your payment.
Buy now, Advance order and pay for your comics now.
If you can’t see the comic you want or want to add a new comic to your list, send us an e-mail to specialrequests@legionofcomics.co.uk with the heading subscriptions and a list of comics you want, a shipping schedule i.e. weekly, fortnightly or end of the month plus your delivery address.
Your comics will be shipped out once we've received a payment from you.
HOW TO PAY
If you choose the BUY NOW option you can pay straight away using either PayPal or the Sage secure website.
If you pick the monthly or weekly option,
You can pay direct from your account to our account, using online banking or we will send you a money request from PayPal.
You don't need an account with PayPal to pay as you can pay on-line using a debit/credit card on the PayPal secure website or pay using your account with them.
We also take cheques, just make them out to legion of comics and send them to Legion of comics, PO BOX 437, Euxton, Chorley, PR7 6WQ.
If you have an account with us, you will be charged at your special account rate.
You can cancel anytime you want, so if you bought 6 comics in advance and 2 had been shipped out, I'd refund you the 4 comics and postage cost.
Once the subscription has ended we will send you an E-mail telling you it has ended.
Credit Card Security
Once you’ve placed your order and are ready to pay, you can pay using the secure SAGE PAY website or the PAYPAL website which will take your credit/debit card details and you don't have to be a member of PAYPAL to use it. (When filling out your invoice information please use the address the card is registered at.)
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. But in the unlikely event you are not entirely satisfied with our product, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item. We can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty.
